Who I Am?

I’m Tufi (Tufan Güner), a Cologne-based electronic music producer and sound designer creating new sounds, audio experiences, and original compositions that blend emotion, technology, and experimentation.

My journey began early with my mother. She is a professional violinist, so music was something I absorbed long before I understood it. You could say it’s in my DNA, a language I grew up around, one that shaped the way I hear and interpret the world.

Today, I bring that background into everything I create:
modern, experimental sound worlds built with emotion, precision, and a desire to explore what audio can make people feel.

Two men are at a nighttime outdoor event with laptops and equipment on a table. Behind them, there is a large LED display showing visuals against a building in the background.

  • I design new sounds, craft audio identities, compose original electronic music, and build immersive sound experiences for visual and interactive media.

Whether it’s a sound redesign, an original score, a UI sound world, or an experimental composition, my goal is always the same:
to create something unique, something that feels alive.

Every project becomes a sculpting process. I develop textures, layers, rhythms, and atmospheres until they reach a point where I physically feel them. That’s often the moment when I know: yes, this belongs here.

  • Even though I’m still building my professional experience, I’ve already explored audio through large A/V concepts, electronic music projects, and sound redesigns.

I’m excited to collaborate across many fields:

    • Product & industrial design

    • Tech & consumer electronics

    • Games & interactive media

    • Automotive visuals

    • Branding & advertising

    • Motion graphics

    • AI-driven audiovisual projects

What matters most to me is inspiration. Projects that excite me, challenge me, or bring a new perspective.

  • I started producing at 13 on Logic Pro X, exploring electronic music as a space for emotion and energy. Influenced by artists like Boris Brejcha, Oliver Koletzki, and Ben Böhmer, I blend driving rhythms with atmospheric melodies to create stories that go beyond words.

My debut album Jungle (2021) marked the beginning of a growing artistic vision. For me, music is more than sound. It’s a feeling, a connection, a world that evolves with every project. With new releases and future performances ahead, I continue to expand my sonic universe.

  • My work is modern, experimental, emotional, and detail-driven.
In every project, I strive to create a sound that is unique and never repetitive. I can’t finish a piece until it gives me that unmistakable moment. The feeling that runs through my body and raises goosebumps. I work patiently, step by step, weaving the audio like a fabric; nothing is rushed, and nothing is left to chance.

I see sound as a design layer. It’s not just something that supports the visuals. It expands them, gives them breath, intention, and emotional weight.

I blend music and sound by listening deeply, waiting for the moment when a tone, rhythm, or texture naturally locks into place. Some discoveries take hours; others happen by pure coincidence. But the process is always intuitive, emotional, and rooted in a search for meaning.

  • Sound has been with me since the womb, literally. Growing up with a musician mother surrounded me with harmony, timbre, and emotional nuance from the start.
Working with sound feels like continuing a story that began before I was born.

  • All sounds, even the ones we consider ordinary have a place, a moment, a meaning.
The reason Mozart’s two-second motif is instantly recognizable, or why we remember a childhood commercial’s melody decades later, is because sound imprints itself into memory.

This fascinates me. And it motivates me to create work that stays, that leaves a trace. I want my music and sound design to become part of someone’s emotional memory, even for just a moment.

  • Sound is like a permanent imprint, a memory that never fades. Everything has a sonic code, and that code reveals itself in unexpected moments:
a feeling, a reminder, a flash of nostalgia. Sound can reopen a forgotten door in the mind. For me, that makes it sacred.
